1.12V threshold supervisor for a single rail
The TPS3808G12DRVR monitors a single supply rail with a 1.12V threshold — the fixed threshold version of the TPS3808 family, so no external resistor divider sets the trip point. That 1.12V level matches 1.2V-core rails for DSPs, FPGAs, and MCUs that need a clean reset when the core dips below the operating margin. The reset output is active-low, open-drain, so it pulls the reset line low when VDD falls below the threshold and holds it low for the programmed timeout after VDD rises above it. Open-drain means the output can be pulled up to any voltage within the absolute maximum of the pin, which simplifies level-shifting to a 3.3V or 1.8V logic bus.
Adjustable timeout and 125°C junction rating
The reset timeout period is adjustable via an external capacitor on the CT pin — no fixed delay, so you can set the hold time to match the power-good turn-on delay of a downstream LDO or DC/DC converter. The junction temperature range spans -40°C to 125°C, which covers automotive under-hood and industrial motor-drive environments where the ambient around the supervisor can exceed 105°C. The 6-WSON (2x2) package with an exposed pad pulls heat into the PCB copper plane. For a low-quiescent-current supervisor the thermal path matters less for the IC itself than for the board-level reliability of the solder joints under thermal cycling.
The 6-WSON package is a standard TI footprint shared with other TPS3808 voltage options, so a threshold change (1.05V, 1.4V, etc.) is a drop-in swap on the same board layout.
