2.93V threshold for 3.3V rail monitoring
The TPS3707-33D is a single-channel voltage supervisor from Texas Instruments that asserts a reset when the monitored supply drops below 2.93V. That threshold is set for a 3.3V rail — it catches a brown-out before the logic glitches, then holds the reset active for a minimum of 140ms after the rail recovers. This gives the power supply and oscillator time to stabilise before the processor starts fetching code. The output is push-pull, totem-pole, and can be configured as either active high or active low. That means you can drive a reset input that expects a high-going pulse or a low-going one without an external pull-up resistor.
