What this supervisor does for your automotive rail
It monitors a single supply rail and asserts a reset signal when the voltage drops below the 2.9V threshold. The reset output is Active Low, Open Drain, which lets you wire-OR it with other reset sources on the same bus. Threshold and output — what the 2.9V and open drain mean for your BOM
The 2.9V threshold sets the undervoltage reset point for a 3.3V or 3.0V rail. Because the output is Active Low, it connects directly to the reset input of most MCUs and SoCs without inversion. The single-channel monitoring fits designs where only one critical rail needs supervision — no need for a multi-voltage sequencer.
