3.3V rail watchdog for automotive ECUs
The TPS3702CX33QDDCRQ1 is a single-channel voltage detector from TI's TPS3702 family, monitoring a 3.3V supply rail and asserting an active-low reset when the voltage drops below threshold. The open-drain output lets you wire-OR it with other reset sources on the board, which is common in multi-rail automotive ECU designs where the MCU needs a clean POR from any failing rail.
AEC-Q100 and the 125°C ceiling
That temperature grade covers under-hood and engine-bay environments where the PCB sees conducted heat from the block and radiated heat from the exhaust. The SOT-23-THIN package keeps the footprint small, but the thermal impedance through the small body means the junction tracks ambient closely — derate the threshold accuracy if the part sits next to a hot LDO or a switching regulator on the same board.
The base product number TPS3702 covers multiple threshold options in the same footprint, so if a future revision needs a different trip point, the layout stays the same.
