What this voltage detector does in the ECU
The open-drain output lets you wire-OR the reset with other supervisory signals on the same pull-up line. AEC-Q100 qualification means this part has passed the full automotive stress test suite — temperature cycling, HAST, high-temperature operating life — and is accepted for PPAP submissions at tier-one ECU programs.
The SOT-23-6 Thin package keeps the board footprint small — useful when the supervisor sits near the monitored rail rather than on a separate power-management board.
