Product details

What the three monitored rails mean for your PSU design

The TPS3511DR is a three-channel multi-voltage supervisor that monitors the 3.3V, 5V, and 12V rails — the three standard outputs of an ATX or industrial power supply. No external resistor divider is needed to set the thresholds; the internal comparators are factory-trimmed to those voltages. The reset output is active-low, open-drain, so it can be wire-ORed with other supervisors or a manual reset button on the same pull-up resistor. The 100ms minimum reset timeout gives the downstream rails time to stabilise before the CPU or logic comes out of reset.

Housed in an 8-SOIC (0.154", 3.90mm width) surface-mount package, the TPS3511DR fits standard SOIC-8 footprints. Cut-tape options are also available for prototyping.

The part is ROHS3 compliant.

Frequently asked questions

Can TPS3511DR replace TPS3511D?

The TPS3511DR is the tape-and-reel variant of the base TPS3511. The 'D' suffix typically denotes SOIC-8 package; the 'R' suffix adds tape-and-reel packaging. Electrically they are identical — same thresholds, same timeout, same temperature range. The DR version is the standard production reel; the D version may be offered in tube or cut-tape. Check your BOM's packaging code before substituting.

What is the lead time for TPS3511DR?

Lead time is confirmed at quote time against your specific BOM quantity. As an active Texas Instruments part with no EOL notice, standard lead times typically apply. Submit an RFQ for current lead time and pricing.
