The TPS3420DDRYT monitors two independent voltage rails and asserts a single active-low reset output when either rail falls below its threshold. The open-drain output lets you pull the reset line to any logic voltage up to the absolute maximum of the pin.

Two-channel monitoring — what it saves you
Many supervisors watch only one rail. The TPS3420DDRYT monitors two voltages with a single IC, which cuts component count and board space in half compared to using two single-channel supervisors. The open-drain output lets you share the reset line across both monitored rails — if either rail dips, the output pulls low and holds the system in reset until both are back in tolerance. Because the output is open drain, you can wire-OR it with other reset sources (manual reset button, watchdog output) without contention. Just add a pull-up resistor to the appropriate supply rail.
