Three-rail supervisor with fixed and adjustable thresholds
The reset outputs are push-pull, totem-pole topology, providing both active-high and active-low signals. No external pull-up resistors are needed on the reset lines, which saves two resistors per board and simplifies the BOM. The minimum reset timeout of 140ms gives downstream devices enough time to stabilize after the last monitored rail crosses its threshold — typical for power-on reset sequencing in DSPs, FPGAs, or multi-rail MCU boards.
The exposed pad improves heat transfer into the PCB copper plane, which matters when the supervisor sits near hot regulators or in a confined enclosure. The 8-TSSOP / 8-MSOP footprint with 0.118-inch body width is a common layout — many board designs already have this pad pattern for other supervisors or small linear regulators.
