2.7V to 23V electronic fuse in a 2x2 QFN
The TPS259472ARPWR is a Texas Instruments electronic fuse (eFuse) IC that protects downstream circuitry from overcurrent, overvoltage, and inrush events on a 2.7V to 23V supply rail.
5.5A continuous rating and thermal design
The 5.5A output current is the continuous rating at nominal conditions. For a 5.5A load at 85°C ambient, a 4-layer board with thermal vias is recommended to keep the junction temperature below the 125°C absolute maximum.
