AEC-Q100 eFuse for automotive power paths
The Texas Instruments TPS25940AQRVCTQ1 is an automotive-grade electronic fuse (eFuse) rated for 2.7V to 18V input and 5.3A continuous output, in a 20-WQFN (4x3) package. The AEC-Q100 qualification places it in under-hood and chassis-domain power distribution — think ECU input protection, ADAS sensor supply rails, and body controller load switches where a resettable overcurrent protector beats a one-shot fuse.
The ±8% accuracy on the current-limit threshold means the designer can set the trip point closer to the load's normal peak current without false trips at temperature. For a 5A nominal load, the trip band sits between 4.6A and 5.4A — tight enough to protect a 5.3A-rated downstream converter without oversizing the eFuse.
The supplier device package is 20-WQFN (4x3). Surface-mount only; no through-hole variant.
No last-time-buy notice, no end-of-life window.
