Programmable protection and fault handling
The controller integrates a set of programmable features: auto retry, circuit breaker, current limit, fault timeout, and latched fault. This lets the designer tailor the response to overcurrent and short-circuit events — auto retry for transient loads, latched fault for hard shorts that need manual intervention. The UVLO and thermal limit are fixed protections that guard against undervoltage and die overtemperature.
