4.5V–36V input, USB-C and SDP/CDP
The TPS25830AQCWRHBRQ1 is a USB Type-C charge port controller that also supports SDP/CDP legacy charging protocols. Its 4.5V to 36V input range covers automotive 12V/24V systems and industrial power rails without an external pre-regulator — the wide margin absorbs load-dump transients and cranking dips. Supply current is 700 µA, low enough for always-on USB ports where standby draw is a line item in the system power budget.
32-VQFN with wettable flank
Housed in a 32-VQFN with exposed pad, 5x5 mm body, the package includes a wettable flank option for automated optical inspection (AOI) of solder joints.
