Dual 2.5 A channels with 44 mOhm on-resistance
This low Rds(on) keeps conduction loss under 275 mW at full load per channel, which matters when routing 5 A total through a 10-VSON package without a heatsink. Load voltage range spans 2.5 V to 6.5 V, covering 3.3 V and 5 V rails common in USB hubs, industrial I/O modules, and point-of-load distribution. The 1:2 input-to-output ratio means a single enable line gates both channels simultaneously.
Integrated fault protection and status flag
Built-in fault protection includes adjustable current limiting, over-temperature shutdown, and undervoltage lockout (UVLO). The status flag output signals over-current or thermal fault conditions to the host controller, allowing software-managed recovery or system power-down. Slew rate control on the output limits inrush current during hot-plug events, preventing upstream supply droop. The On/Off interface accepts a non-inverting logic-level enable, compatible with 1.8 V to 5 V logic without a level shifter.
The part does not require a Vcc/Vdd supply — it is self-powered from the load voltage.
