High-side switch with adjustable current limit
It integrates an N-channel MOSFET with a typical on-resistance of 85 mOhm, a slew-rate-controlled output to limit inrush, and a status flag that asserts when the output is in current-limit or thermal-shutdown.
Load voltage and protection envelope
The switch operates with a load voltage from 2.5 V to 6.5 V and delivers up to 1.5 A continuous output. The fault protection set includes adjustable current limiting, over-temperature shutdown, and undervoltage lockout (UVLO), which together cover the main failure modes for a USB port or general-purpose power-rail switch.
