Dual 6 A load switch with 14 mOhm on-resistance
The TPS22976DPUR integrates two independent N-channel high-side switches in a single 14-WSON (3x2) package. Each channel delivers up to 6 A continuous with a typical Rds(on) of 14 mOhm — the conduction loss at full load is under 0.5 W per channel, which the exposed pad on the 14-WSON can sink with a modest copper pour.
Input range and load-discharge behaviour
The load voltage range spans 2.5 V to 5.7 V, covering 3.3 V and 5 V rails but not sub-2.5 V core supplies. The On/Off interface is logic-level; the switch turns on with a single GPIO. An integrated load-discharge resistor pulls the output to ground when the switch is off, preventing floating rails on powered-down loads — useful for sequencing where a downstream regulator must see a known state.
Industrial temperature grade and over-temperature protection
The built-in over-temperature fault protection shuts the switch off if the die exceeds the thermal threshold, protecting the load and the board from a sustained short or overload.
Confirm the 14-WSON footprint and the 2.5 V–5.7 V rail before committing the PCB.
