What the 16 mOhm Rds(on) means for your BOM
A typical on-resistance of 16 mOhm at 4 A translates to roughly 64 mW of conduction loss per channel at full load. That is low enough to avoid significant thermal derating in most automotive loads — think lighting modules, infotainment subsystems, or sensor power rails — as long as the PCB layout provides adequate copper area under the WSON thermal pad. The 0.8 V minimum load voltage also lets this switch handle modern low-voltage core rails without dropout issues.
