13.3 mOhm Rds(on) — the pass element that stays cool
The TPS22963CYZPT is a single-channel, N-channel high-side load switch from Texas Instruments, built for general-purpose power-domain switching. Its 13.3 mOhm typical on-resistance keeps conduction loss under 120 mW at the 3 A maximum continuous output — no heatsink needed in most board environments. Input supply (Vcc/Vdd) is not required — the switch is self-powered from the load rail.
Slew-rate control and reverse current protection
Slew-rate controlled turn-on limits inrush current into capacitive loads, preventing upstream supply droop that could reset other devices on the same rail. The On/Off interface accepts a non-inverting logic signal to enable the switch.
6-pin DSBGA — small footprint, fine-pitch assembly
