The TPS22904YFPR is a single-channel, high-side load switch from Texas Instruments built around a P-channel MOSFET. The 66 mOhm typical on-resistance means at 500 mA the voltage drop across the switch is about 33 mV — negligible for a 1.8 V or 3.3 V rail, so no derating needed for conduction loss in most designs.

The load voltage range runs from 1.1 V up to 3.6 V. No separate Vcc supply is needed — the switch is self-powered from the load rail.
Load discharge and slew rate control — why they are on this part
Two features worth calling out: load discharge pulls the output to ground when the switch is turned off, so the downstream load does not float at an indeterminate voltage. Slew rate control limits the turn-on current surge into capacitive loads — useful when the load includes decoupling caps or a power-good input that could glitch on a fast edge.
