Dual PCMCIA power switch with status flag
It integrates two independent 1 A outputs with a typical on-resistance of 70 mOhm, minimizing voltage drop and heat in the slot supply path. The 3:2 input-to-output ratio lets three supply inputs feed two outputs, simplifying the power routing.
70 mOhm Rds(on) and fault protection
At 1 A continuous output, the 70 mOhm typical on-resistance yields a 70 mV drop — low enough to keep the slot voltage within CardBus tolerance without a heatsink. The fixed current-limiting threshold and thermal shutdown protect the switch and the card from shorts or overcurrent events. The parallel interface and 'Not Required' Vcc/Vdd supply simplify connection — the switch is self-powered from the load rail.
Active production, 16-SSOP package
It is supplied in tape-and-reel or cut-tape options, in the 16-SSOP (5.30 mm width) package, ROHS3 compliant. The 16-SSOP body is a standard footprint, reworkable with hot air if the pad layout follows the datasheet land pattern.
