Dual-input power mux for handheld rails
It integrates N-channel FETs internally, so the BOM keeps the pass-FET and its driver off the board. The 2:1 input-to-output ratio means the part selects between two supply inputs (e.g. USB bus and a Li-ion battery) and delivers the chosen source to the load. The 1.25A continuous output current ceiling sets the load budget for the downstream regulator or system rail. Supply range spans 2.8V to 5.5V, covering single-cell Li-ion through 5V USB rails — the primary fit criterion for handheld and mobile equipment.
55 µA quiescent and 1 ms turn-on
Quiescent supply current is 55 µA — this is the standby draw when the switch is enabled but the load is light. For a battery-powered handheld, that Iq sits in the budget alongside the system sleep current. Turn-on delay is 1 ms, turn-off delay 5 ms. These are the internal timing from the select signal to the output rail reaching regulation. The 1 ms on-delay means the downstream rail comes up within a millisecond of the source selection command.
