Product details

Four-channel high-side switching with system flags

The TPS2075DB: Four independent N-channel high-side outputs, each rated 100 mA continuous, cover a typical USB downstream port or peripheral power distribution tree. The 100 mOhm typical Rds(on) keeps the voltage drop below 10 mV at full load per channel, so the 5V bus stays within USB 2.0 tolerance at the far end. On/Off interface with integrated Power Good and Status Flag outputs gives the host controller real-time visibility into each channel's state and fault condition. Over-temperature protection shuts down the switch before junction damage occurs — the part recovers automatically when the die cools.

Frequently asked questions

What is the TPS2075DB's output current per channel?

Each of the four high-side outputs is rated 100 mA maximum continuous. The 100 mOhm typical Rds(on) means the voltage drop at full load is about 10 mV per channel, keeping the output within the USB voltage tolerance.

Does the TPS2075DB include fault protection?

Yes, the device has over-temperature protection. When the junction temperature exceeds the threshold, the switch shuts off and automatically restarts after cooling. Power Good and Status Flag outputs report the channel state to the host.
