Dual 1 A high-side switch with 73 mΩ on-resistance
The Texas Instruments TPS2062CDRBT-2 is a dual-channel high-side power switch in an 8-SON (3x3 mm) package, designed for USB and general-purpose power distribution at 4.5 V to 5.5 V load voltage. Each of the two N-channel outputs delivers up to 1 A, with a typical on-resistance of 73 mOhm. The switch is non-inverting with an On/Off interface and includes a status flag output for fault reporting.
Protection suite and temperature range
This part packs fixed current limiting, over-temperature shutdown, reverse-current blocking, and undervoltage lockout (UVLO) — the full set of protections you want when feeding a USB port or a peripheral rail that could see a short or a hot-plug event.
The 8-SON (3x3 mm) package requires a thermal via stitch under the pad for the 1 A continuous output — without it, the junction temperature climbs fast at high ambient. Surface-mount only, as expected.
