The switch is self-contained — no external Vcc supply is needed because the gate drive is derived from the input voltage.
Fault protection set — no external sense resistor needed
Three built-in fault protections simplify the BOM: fixed current limiting (no external resistor), over-temperature shutdown, and under-voltage lockout (UVLO). The status flag output (open-drain, active low) asserts when the switch is in current limit or thermal shutdown, so a downstream GPIO or PLC input can log the fault without an ADC. The enable input is non-inverting — logic high turns the switch on.
