Rail-to-rail ESD clamp for six data lines
The Texas Instruments TPD6E001RSERG4 is a steering (rail to rail) TVS diode array that shunts ESD transients on up to six unidirectional signal lines. It clamps incoming spikes to the supply rails, which keeps the protected IC's I/O pins inside the absolute maximum ratings — the datasheet calls this out on the first page. With a reverse standoff voltage of 5V (max) and a minimum breakdown of 11V, it fits 3.3V and 5V logic families without adding leakage at the operating rail.
Six channels in a 2.0x1.5 mm footprint
Six unidirectional channels pack into a 10-UFQFN package measuring 2.0x1.5 mm (supplier device package 10-UQFN). The 10-UFQFN is a surface-mount package with a 0.50 mm pitch — the layout engineer should budget a via-in-pad or microvia fan-out for the centre ground pad.
