6-channel rail-to-rail steering array — 2.0x1.5 mm footprint
The Texas Instruments TPD6E001RSER is a steering (rail-to-rail) ESD protection array with 6 unidirectional channels in a single 10-UQFN package measuring 2.0x1.5 mm. Power line protection is integrated, making it a one-chip solution for clamping ESD events on up to six signal lines.
The 5 V reverse standoff means this array is designed to protect 5 V logic rails — USB, HDMI, or LVDS lines running at 5 V nominal. The 11 V breakdown minimum sets the clamping floor: transients below 11 V pass through unclamped, so for 3.3 V or 1.8 V signal rails, the residual voltage may exceed the downstream IC's absolute maximum unless a secondary TVS or a lower-voltage steering diode is added. Six unidirectional channels cover three differential pairs or six single-ended lines, reducing component count versus using six discrete TVS diodes.
Package and operating range
Housed in a 10-UQFN (2.0x1.5 mm) package with surface-mount termination — the small footprint suits space-constrained portable and consumer designs.
