Rail-to-rail steering for HDMI and Ethernet port protection
The Texas Instruments TPD2E009DRTR is a steering (rail-to-rail) TVS diode array that protects two high-speed differential signal lines — exactly the count needed for one HDMI or Ethernet port. Its two unidirectional channels clamp transients to the supply rails rather than to ground, which preserves signal integrity on fast edges while shunting ESD events away from the downstream PHY or receiver IC.
