0.2 pF — the spec that unlocks high-speed ports
The TPD1E01B04DPYR is a single-channel bidirectional Zener ESD protection diode from Texas Instruments, built for high-speed data lines where added capacitance would close the eye diagram. Its 0.2 pF typical capacitance at 1 MHz is low enough to leave USB 3.0 (5 Gbps), HDMI 1.4 (3.4 Gbps), and Gigabit Ethernet signal integrity intact — the diode loads the trace by less than a millimetre of PCB stub.
Protection window: 3.6 V standoff, 15 V clamp
Breakdown starts at 6.4 V minimum, and during an ESD strike the clamping voltage peaks at 15 V (at 2.5 A peak pulse current). That 15 V ceiling is the stress the protected IC must survive; most 3.3 V tolerant I/O cells handle it with margin.
Industrial temperature, no power line protection
Note the Power Line Protection flag is 'No' — this is a signal-line ESD clamp, not a surge suppressor for power rails.
