HDMI signal-line protection with 0.18 pF — the capacitance that matters
Its headline spec is 0.18 pF capacitance at 1 MHz — low enough to sit on high-speed differential pairs without chewing up the signal eye. For HDMI 1.4/2.0 TMDS lines running at multi-gigabit rates, every tenth of a picofarad of added load eats into the timing margin. Reverse standoff is 3.6 V max, which sits comfortably above the 3.3 V HDMI supply rail. The device does not leak or conduct during normal operation.
