Industrial temperature grade and protection features
On-chip short-circuit and thermal protection prevent latch-up or die damage if the output is accidentally grounded or the load impedance drops below the rated minimum. A dedicated shutdown pin lets the system microcontroller place the amplifier into a low-power idle state when audio is not required.
Package and thermal interface
Housed in an 8-pin HVSSOP with exposed pad (3.00 mm width), the part requires a thermal land on the PCB to conduct heat from the die to the copper plane — without it the output power derates above 70°C ambient.
