The TMS320F28062PNT runs a 32-bit C28x core at 90 MHz, which is the clock budget for your control-loop ISR timing. On a motor drive or digital power supply, that 90 MHz translates to a PWM update rate and ADC sample window — not a number on a datasheet cover.
128 KB Flash and 26K x 16 RAM — firmware fit check
Program memory is 128 KB Flash, organized as 64K x 16. That is enough for a three-phase motor control stack with sensorless FOC, plus CAN and UART comms, but tight if you are adding a full Modbus TCP stack or logging history. The 26K x 16 RAM handles the variable buffer and lookup tables; watch the stack depth if you nest ISRs. Flash means field-reprogrammable — no OTP lock-in.
Peripherals and I/O — what connects where
