60 MHz C28x core — real-time loop budget
The TMS320F28032PAGT runs a single C28x core at 60 MHz, which sets the PWM update rate and control-loop bandwidth for digital power supplies and motor drives. The 64 KB of on-chip Flash and 10K x 16 RAM are sized for a single-axis servo loop or a two-phase interleaved PFC algorithm without external memory. A 14-channel 12-bit ADC samples simultaneously with the PWM to minimize current-sense latency.
Industrial temperature grade — deployment envelope
The 64-TQFP package has a 10 mm × 10 mm body.
EOL notice — sourcing strategy required
Peripheral set — control-oriented connectivity
Integrated CAN, LIN, I²C, SPI, and UART/USART cover the typical fieldbus and sensor links in a distributed control system. The 33 GPIOs include dedicated PWM outputs and capture inputs for resolver or encoder feedback. Brown-out detect and POR supervise the 1.71 V to 1.995 V core supply — no external supervisor IC needed for basic power-fail handling.
