14-bit SPI temperature sensor with ±0.8°C accuracy
The TMP126NDCKR is a digital local temperature sensor from Texas Instruments that reports temperature over an SPI interface with 14-bit resolution.
Supply flexibility and power management
The 1.62V to 5.5V supply range lets the sensor run from the same rail as a 1.8V MCU or a 3.3V/5V logic bus without a separate regulator. One-Shot, Shutdown Mode, and Sleep Mode give the firmware control over power draw — the sensor can wake, take a reading, and go back to sleep between measurement intervals, which matters for battery-powered or thermally constrained enclosures.
Package and board integration
Housed in a 6-pin SC-70-6 (also listed as 6-TSSOP, SC-88, SOT-363), the TMP126NDCKR occupies minimal board area — roughly 2.0 mm × 2.1 mm. Surface-mount assembly with Tape & Reel or Cut Tape packaging options.
