SOT-23-5 package and board-fit
The TMAG5110C2AQDBVR comes in a 5-pin SOT-23-5 package (SC-74A / SOT-753 footprint).
2.6 mT latch point and what it means on the bench
This is a bipolar latch: it trips at 2.6 mT (north or south pole) and releases at -2.6 mT. The 5.2 mT hysteresis window means the output does not chatter when the field sits near the threshold — a common failure on unlatched Hall switches in vibrating assemblies.
Supply range and output drive
The open-drain output sinks up to 10 mA, enough to drive a PLC digital input or a small relay coil through a pull-up resistor. Quiescent supply current maxes at 8 mA, which is typical for a Hall latch at this supply voltage.
Temperature grade and environment
The Hall element and signal-conditioning circuitry are trimmed across this range, so the switch point stays within the datasheet limits from a cold start at -40°C to under-hood heat soak. The SOT-23-5 package's junction-to-ambient thermal resistance is about 250°C/W; at 8 mA supply and 38 V, the self-heating is under 0.1°C — negligible for the temperature rating.
