The TM4C129XKCZADI3 runs a single ARM Cortex-M4F core at 120 MHz, with a hardware FPU and DSP extensions. That clock rate supports closed-loop motor control with the motion-control PWM peripheral and a TCP/IP stack on the integrated Ethernet MAC+PHY.
512 KB Flash and 6 KB EEPROM — firmware and calibration storage
Program memory is 512 KB of Flash, enough for a full-featured application with a bootloader and over-the-air update capability via the Ethernet or USB OTG interface. The separate 6K x 8 EEPROM block stores calibration constants, node IDs, or fault logs without wearing the Flash — useful for field-reprogrammable industrial controllers that need to retain configuration across firmware updates.
