120 MHz Cortex-M4F with integrated Ethernet and CAN
The Texas Instruments TM4C129ENCPDTT3 is a Tiva™ C series 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4F MCU clocked at 120 MHz, with 1 MB of Flash program memory and 256 KB of SRAM. It carries 6 KB of EEPROM for parameter storage without external EEPROM. The 20-channel 12-bit ADC handles multi-sensor analog inputs without an external multiplexer.
The 120 MHz Cortex-M4F core handles real-time control loops and protocol stacks without an external co-processor. 1 MB Flash supports a full Ethernet/IP or Modbus TCP stack plus application code.
Where it fits in the panel or system
This MCU is a natural fit for a programmable automation controller or a motor-drive control board where Ethernet and CAN share the same chip. The 90 GPIOs in a 128-TQFP package give enough I/O for local pushbuttons, status LEDs, and a small HMI display. The DMA engine offloads the CPU for high-speed data transfers like Ethernet frames or ADC conversions.
