80 MHz Cortex-M4F with FPU — real-time control ready
Onboard CAN and USB cut the transceiver count for fieldbus nodes and HMI panels. The 64-LQFP package keeps board area tight — 10x10 mm body, 43 GPIOs available for local I/O and encoder interfaces.
Connectivity — CAN and USB without extra chips
The TM4C1233E6PMI7R integrates a CAN 2.0 controller and a USB 2.0 full-speed device/host/OTG interface. For a machine-control board that needs both a CANbus link to the PLC and a USB port for configuration, that saves a CAN transceiver and a USB PHY — roughly a dollar and a couple of square centimetres on the BOM.
