ARM Cortex-M4F at 80 MHz with floating-point unit
It carries 256 KB of Flash program memory, 32K x 8 SRAM, and 2K x 8 EEPROM — enough headroom for a control loop with moderate data logging or a communication gateway. The 80 MHz core with FPU handles real-time math (PID, FFT) without a separate DSP coprocessor, which simplifies the BOM for motor-drive or instrumentation front-ends.
The 49 GPIOs pair with a 12-channel 12-bit ADC, CAN, I²C, SPI, SSI, UART, and IrDA — enough to connect a CANopen sensor network, a serial HMI, and a few analog inputs without external muxing.
