The Texas Instruments TLV803EC43DBZR is a simple reset/power-on reset supervisor in a SOT-23-3 package. It monitors a single 4.38 V rail and asserts an active-low, open-drain reset output when the supply drops below threshold. The reset timeout is a minimum of 6.5 ms, giving the downstream processor time to stabilize after power-up. Intended for use in microcontroller-based systems, industrial controllers, and portable equipment where a clean power-on reset is critical.
SOT-23-3 — rework-friendly footprint
The SOT-23-3 package is small but hand-reworkable with a hot-air station. Three pads, no hidden leads — lift the part, not the pad. The open-drain output means you need a pull-up resistor to the logic supply; the supervisor itself doesn't source current, so the pull-up value sets the rise time. Mount it close to the monitored rail's bulk capacitor to avoid noise-induced false resets.
Active lifecycle — no LTB risk
For BOM freeze planning, no PCN watch is needed on this line today.
