1A adjustable LDO with 35 µA quiescent and PSRR across 1 kHz–1 MHz
The TLV75901PDRVR is a Texas Instruments single-output positive adjustable LDO rated for 1A continuous output from a 0.55V to 5.5V adjustable range, fed by a 6V maximum input rail. Quiescent current draws 35 µA typical, which keeps the regulator's own consumption low enough for always-on rails in battery-powered equipment where every microamp extends standby time. Power-supply rejection ratio measures 50 dB at 1 kHz and rolls off to 30 dB at 1 MHz — the 1 kHz figure suppresses 60 Hz ripple and its harmonics, while the 1 MHz floor still attenuates switching noise from a downstream buck converter by a factor of 31.
Maximum dropout voltage is 1.05V at the full 1A load — the input rail must stay at least 1.05V above the programmed output voltage across the load range, or the output falls out of regulation. Built-in protection covers over-current, over-temperature, and under-voltage lockout (UVLO); the UVLO threshold prevents the pass FET from operating in the linear region during a brown-out input, which would otherwise dissipate excess power in the die. An Enable pin (active-high logic input) lets a system controller sequence the rail on and off — useful for power-rail sequencing in multi-voltage designs where the core rail must come up before the I/O rail.
Package and temperature grade for board integration
Surface-mount mounting is specified; the 6-WDFN package suits automated pick-and-place assembly with standard reflow profiles.
