10-bit voltage-output DAC with SPI interface
The TLV5606CD is a 10-bit digital-to-analog converter from Texas Instruments that delivers a buffered voltage output. It uses a string DAC architecture, which provides monotonic performance and low glitch energy. Communication is over an SPI-compatible serial interface, and the output settles to within 1/2 LSB in 20 µs typical. The single-channel converter accepts an external voltage reference to set the output span.
Linearity and output characteristics
Integral non-linearity (INL) is ±0.5 LSB maximum, and differential non-linearity (DNL) is ±0.2 LSB maximum, ensuring monotonic behavior across the full 10-bit range. The output is voltage-buffered and does not provide differential output.
Texas Instruments lists the TLV5606CD as an active product with ROHS3 compliance.
