Adjustable shunt reference, ±0.5% — the tolerance that sets the rail
Its output is programmable from 1.24 V up to 6 V using two external resistors, and the ±0.5% tolerance means the reference voltage stays tight across temperature and load — no trimming pot needed on the board.
15 mA cathode current — enough for most bias and supervision circuits
The shunt can sink up to 15 mA continuous, which covers biasing a feedback divider, setting a comparator threshold, or powering a low-current load like an optocoupler LED. The minimum cathode current is 100 µA, so the bias resistor value stays reasonable even at low supply voltages.
It is not AEC-Q100 qualified, so skip it for under-hood automotive or 125°C environments.
