1.24 V to 6 V adjustable shunt — the ±1% tolerance matters
The TLV431ACLPR: This is a low-voltage shunt regulator with an adjustable output from a 1.24 V minimum up to 6 V maximum, set by two external resistors. The ±1% tolerance on the reference voltage gives tighter regulation than the standard TL431's 2% grade — relevant when the shunt sets the feedback node in a primary-side regulated supply or a precision comparator threshold. The 80 µA minimum cathode current lets the device operate in low-bias circuits without wasting headroom, while the 15 mA output current handles the shunt load for most reference and error-amplifier applications.
Through-hole TO-92-3 — board-fit note
The TLV431ACLPR is supplied in a TO-226-3 / TO-92-3 (TO-226AA) formed-leads package, through-hole mounting.
