What this audio ADC does on your board
The Texas Instruments TLV320ADC3101IRGET is a 24-bit audio analog-to-digital converter that samples at 96 kSPS across three channels. It talks to your host processor over a DSP or I²S serial interface, which is the standard digital audio link for codecs, SoCs, and FPGAs. The 24-VQFN package with exposed pad (4x4 mm) keeps the board footprint small — useful when you are squeezing a microphone input or line-level capture channel onto a mixed-signal PCB.
Supply rails and what they mean for your power tree
This part needs two supply domains: a 1.65 V to 1.95 V digital core rail and a 2.6 V to 3.6 V analog rail.
Three channels — stereo plus one
Three input channels means you can capture a stereo pair (left and right) and a third channel for a mono microphone, a reference, or a differential signal. The 24-bit resolution at 96 kSPS gives you the dynamic range for professional-grade audio capture — think voice pickup, instrumentation audio, or multi-track recording. The -40°C to 85°C operating range covers industrial and outdoor equipment, but not automotive under-hood (that would need AEC-Q100).
Lifecycle and sourcing
Status is Active per the manufacturer, ROHS3 compliant. For current pricing and availability, submit an RFQ — we source through independent distribution and confirm both at quote time. There is no official replacement listed because none is needed; this is the current production device.
