200k SPS, 8-channel SAR ADC in a 20-TSSOP tube
The TLV2548CPW is a 12-bit successive-approximation-register (SAR) ADC from Texas Instruments that samples eight single-ended inputs at 200k samples per second. It integrates a multiplexer, sample-and-hold, and the ADC core in a single 20-TSSOP package, so a single IC handles multi-sensor acquisition without an external mux. The SPI/DSP serial interface connects directly to most microcontrollers with three or four wires — no parallel bus needed.
Rework and board-fit for the 20-TSSOP package
The 20-TSSOP body is 4.40 mm wide with a 0.65 mm pin pitch — a standard hot-air rework station can lift and replace it without lifting pads, provided the board has a thermal relief on the ground paddle. Pin 1 is marked with a dot on the package top; the orientation notch on the tube rail aligns with the socket for automated placement.
The commercial temperature grade (0°C to 70°C) covers indoor instrumentation, test equipment, and industrial control panels that do not see extreme ambient. For automotive or outdoor deployment, a wider-temperature variant would be needed.
