What this dual op-amp brings to an automotive BOM
It delivers 6.4 MHz gain-bandwidth product and a 1.6 V/µs slew rate — enough bandwidth for sensor signal conditioning (pressure, temperature, position) and actuator drive loops in engine ECUs, transmission controllers, and body-control modules. Rail-to-rail output swing at the 80 mA per-channel drive lets it directly interface to ADC inputs or drive small loads without a separate buffer stage.
Supply span from 2.7 V to 6 V covers common automotive rails.
8-SOIC (3.90 mm width) — standard footprint. Supplier device package is also 8-SOIC. Surface-mount only.
The Q-suffix designates the automotive AEC-Q100 grade, which carries its own qualification and change-notification process — any PCN will flow through TI's automotive product-change system.
