What the AEC-Q100 grade buys you
The TLV2462QDRG4 is the automotive-qualified variant of TI's TLV2462 dual general-purpose op-amp, carrying AEC-Q100 stress qualification for deployment in under-hood, chassis, and cabin-domain electronics. It delivers a 6.4 MHz gain-bandwidth product and 1.6 V/µs slew rate — enough bandwidth to condition sensor signals (pressure, temperature, position) before feeding them into an MCU's ADC, and enough drive to swing a rail-to-rail output into the next stage without clipping.
The 550 µA per-channel quiescent current keeps the thermal load low in a sealed ECU enclosure.
Temperature range and package — board-fit realities
The tape-and-reel delivery suits automated pick-and-place for production runs.
No official successor or second-source alternate is documented, so the BOM should treat this as a single-source line item.
