The TLV2404IDR is a quad general-purpose op-amp from Texas Instruments built for the lowest supply current in its class. The 5.5 kHz gain-bandwidth product and 0.0025 V/µs slew rate tell you this is not a speed part — it is intentionally bandwidth-limited to keep noise and power low. Rail-to-rail output lets it swing close to the supply rails, useful in single-supply 2.5 V to 16 V designs.
That 125°C ceiling matters for engine-bay sensor conditioning, outdoor telecom line cards, or factory-floor signal chains near hot machinery. The input bias current is 100 pA, low enough for high-impedance sensors like thermistors or photodiodes without adding offset drift. Output drive is 200 µA per channel — enough to swing a following ADC input or a logic gate, but not to drive a cable or a relay coil directly.
The quad-channel density in a single 14-SOIC means one part replaces four single-channel op-amps, reducing BOM line count and board area.
