The TLV2252AID from Texas Instruments is a dual general-purpose operational amplifier built on the LinCMOS™ process. Its 200 kHz gain-bandwidth product and 0.12 V/µs slew rate define the signal bandwidth ceiling — suitable for conditioning slow sensor outputs, filtering audio-band signals, or buffering reference voltages where speed is secondary to power economy. Each channel draws just 70 µA of supply current, and the rail-to-rail output stage swings within millivolts of the supply rails — critical when running from a 2.7 V to 8 V single supply where every millivolt of headroom matters for ADC drive or comparator thresholds.
1 pA input bias — designed for high-impedance sources
The CMOS input stage delivers a typical input bias current of 1 pA at 25°C. This makes the TLV2252AID a natural fit for photodiode amplifiers, pH probe buffers, or piezoelectric sensor front-ends where the source impedance runs into the megaohm range — the bias current error stays below the sensor's own leakage floor. Input offset voltage is trimmed to 200 µV typical, which means the DC error at the output is dominated by the external resistor network, not the amplifier itself. The -40°C to 125°C operating range covers industrial control cabinets and under-hood automotive modules without derating.
