Product details

Dual 50 MHz op-amp for signal conditioning and ADC drive

The TLE2237CDW is a dual-channel general-purpose operational amplifier from the Excalibur™ series, packaged in a 16-SOIC (0.295", 7.50 mm width) surface-mount package. Its 50 MHz gain-bandwidth product and 5 V/µs slew rate suit it for active filters, ADC front-end drivers, and video-line buffering where moderate speed is needed. The supply span from 8 V to 38 V lets it run on common ±15 V bipolar rails or a single 24 V industrial bus without an extra regulator.

The 8 V minimum supply means this op-amp will not work from a 5 V or 3.3 V rail — it needs a higher-voltage supply, typical of ±12 V to ±15 V systems or a single 12 V/24 V rail. Each channel can deliver 50 mA of output current, enough to drive a 50 Ω load to a few volts or to bias a small relay directly. The 100 µV input offset voltage is respectable for a general-purpose part; it keeps DC errors low in precision gain stages without needing an external trim.

Temperature grade and deployment context

It is not intended for under-hood automotive or outdoor telecom cabinets where the ambient exceeds 70°C.

Lifecycle and sourcing posture

That means no last-time-buy pressure and no forced redesign for the foreseeable future.
