What this op-amp brings to the board
The supply span from 4 V to 44 V covers common rails — 5 V, 12 V, 24 V, and ±15 V — without a secondary regulator. Output current is rated at 50 mA per channel, sufficient to drive ADC inputs, comparator thresholds, or small relays.
The 45 V/µs slew rate is the standout dynamic spec here. It allows the output to swing 10 V in about 220 ns, which is fast enough to handle pulse signals in the hundreds of kilohertz range without significant slew-induced distortion. For comparison, a typical 1 MHz general-purpose op-amp with 0.5 V/µs would round off the same edge. This matters when the op-amp is used as a comparator driver, a waveform generator, or a fast-settling buffer ahead of an ADC. The 5.9 MHz gain-bandwidth product supports closed-loop gains up to about 10 at 590 kHz, or unity-gain bandwidth up to 5.9 MHz — adequate for audio processing, sensor amplification, and motor-current sensing loops.
Rated for 4 V to 44 V total supply, the TLE2141ACDG4 can run from a single 5 V logic rail or a ±15 V industrial supply. Input common-mode range is not rail-to-rail — the datasheet typical behavior is about 1.5 V from each rail — so for single-supply 5 V designs with inputs near ground, a rail-to-rail input op-amp like the TLV9351IDCKR would be a better fit.
The shipping medium is Tube — not Tape & Reel — which means the parts arrive in a rigid plastic tube. For automated pick-and-place, verify that your feeder can handle tube-fed SOIC-8; if not, request a reeled variant (the TLE2141ACD or TLE2141ACDR).
